What better way to celebrate May Day than with a $471,500 donation to Catholic Charities from Fidelis Care!  So this week on May 1st Fidelis Care marketing executives George Rodriguez, Mark Sclafani, and Pamela Hassan gathered at our Catholic Charities central office on East 56th Street to present this generous donation to Catholic Charities Executive Director Msgr. Kevin Sullivan.

Fidelis Care, a pioneer at providing affordable health care long before it sparked political debate, offers quality, affordable health insurance coverage for 1.6 million children and adults of all ages and at all stages of life, including products available through NY State Department of Health: The Official Health Plan Marketplace.

Also known as the New York State Catholic Health Plan, it awards grants each year to non-profit organizations like Catholic Charities.

Why Catholic Charities? Fidelis Care’s mission says it all:

In imitation of the compassionate and healing Christ, consistent with the tradition of Catholic health care and maintaining the highest moral and ethical standards, we, at Fidelis Care New York, strive:

Their donation will go a long way towards advancing both agencies’ missions of helping poor underserved New Yorkers.

Happy May Day, Fidelis Cares!
