Volunteer at Catholic Charities Free Legal Clinics

By Alice Kenny

As more and more moms, dads and children from the gang-filled nations of Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador, flee for safety to the U.S., many of us wonder how we can make a difference.  At Catholic Charities NY, we have the answer.

Please volunteer at our upcoming upstate free Community Legal Clinics

We are looking for dedicated, personable volunteers like you for information gathering, legal screenings, and application assistance.

  • You will meet with prospective clients to gather information about their journey to the United States and their life histories.
  • You will also work with our Catholic Charities NY attorneys to inform immigrants about their rights and legal options.
  • Plus, you will receive free webinar training a week before the clinic to make sure you’re fully prepared
