Finally, a volunteer project for all ages!

Join Catholic Charities with your family on Saturday, November 19th as  we host the best way in New York City to celebrate National Family Volunteer Day!

Spend a fun-filled family day with service projects that benefit those we serve – New Yorkers in need.

It’s also a day that demonstrates and celebrates the power of families who volunteer together, supporting their neighborhoods, communities and the world.

And it will be held in the heart of New York City:  Cathedral High School on 1st Avenue and 56 Street.

Our projects include:

  • Home-made Christmas cards and Christmas decorations  (for ages 2 and up)
  • Quiet Activity Books (for ages 13 and up)
  • Home-made no-sew fleece blankets (for ages 11 and up)
  • Snow Globes (for ages 11 and up)
  • Blessing Bags

All items will be distributed throughout our program sites:  residences, senior centers, foster care programs and more

Special Bonus!  You could win a $1,000 Shopping Gift Card or a night out with the family.
To enter the lottery, share your family volunteer day story after you finish your project on Generation On.

Bring your entire family for the best way to celebrate National Family Volunteer Day in New York City.
